Drone Systems is looking for an International Sales Manager
Would you like to drive growth in the German market and help develop our international sales?
Drone Systems is looking for an ambitious and commercially driven International Sales Manager who is motivated by delivering results, developing new markets and building long-term customer relationships.
Initially, you will be responsible for developing the German district heating market and will become a key part of our international growth strategy. The role has been created with long-term development in mind: You will begin with a focus on Germany, but over time, you will have the opportunity to take responsibility for additional international markets and play a central role in Drone Systems’ continued growth.

About the role
As International Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing your own pipeline in the German market and driving sales processes from initial contact through to the final order.
You will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, building relationships with prospective customers and developing existing partnerships. The role requires you to communicate fluently in both German and English, as a significant part of the dialogue will be with international customers and business partners.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Mapping the market and preparing targeted prospect lists
- Conducting outbound sales and establishing new customer relationships
- Systematically following up on leads, quotations and customer activities
- Managing negotiations and sales processes from start to finish
- Developing sales with both existing and new customers
- Maintaining and updating WebCRM
- Attending relevant trade fairs, conferences and networking events
- Actively contributing to the development of Drone Systems’ market position
Your working day will involve ongoing communication with customers by phone, email, online meetings and in-person visits. You will work in a structured and goal-oriented manner, delivering results through a high level of activity and strong customer relationships.
About you
You may have a few years of sales experience and be ready to take the next step into an international role offering considerable responsibility and excellent development opportunities.
We would also like you to:
- Be fluent in Danish, German and English, both spoken and written
- Be proactive, structured and persistent
- Have an interest in engineering and technology
- Have experience in or an interest in the district heating sector – this is not a requirement, but it would be an advantage
- Work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
- Thrive in a team environment and contribute positively to the organisation
- Maintain an overview and prioritise effectively
- Be ambitious about developing your career within international sales
- Be willing to travel as part of the role

About Drone Systems
Drone Systems is an innovative company specialising in technical drone inspections.
Our primary business area is the thermal mapping of district heating networks for Danish and international district heating companies. At the same time, we are developing new solutions within the water, environmental and solar energy sectors, combining advanced drone technology with innovative inspection methods.
We work closely with organisations including the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), and a number of Danish and international companies on a range of technological development projects. Through this work, we are helping to create the inspection and analysis solutions of the future using a data-driven approach.
